The recognizable human scale of the door is contrasted by the context in which the piece is sited. Changing contexts provides changing scales, views, and occupations. This piece traveled from a park to two university campuses, some galleries, and found its final resting place in a small wooded area at the Tillinghast farm, in Barrington Rhode Island.
